Description
The GM fuel system consists of the gas tank, fuel pump, gas lines, fuel filter, fuel injectors or carburators and the combustion chamber.GMs run on gasoline, ethanol gas blend, diesel fuel or biodiesel blends.
The fuel system mixed with air, stores and delivers fuel to the cylinders where it is vaporized and burned to produce combustion.
Whenever you press back on your GM’s gas pedal, you control. The valve while the computer controls amount of fuel, just how much air to let in is told by the pedal.
The mixed fuel is sucked into the engine cylinders, ingnited by the plug, producing a clean burn which powers the GM.
Keeping the fuel in the vehicle clean is very important.
Come in to have your old GM’s gas filter removed and replaced with a new one that meets the recommendations of your manufacturer.
